Outings
Nestled in the vibrant heart of West London, The Square Nursery School provides children with a rich tapestry of learning experiences that reflect the diverse and dynamic culture of Britain. Our children thrive as they engage in various outings, from visits to local landmarks to engaging cultural events, giving them firsthand experiences of life in Britain. These activities are carefully selected not only to enhance their understanding of British society but also to instil values such as respect, democracy, and individual liberty, which are central to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
At The Square Nursery School, the safety and well-being of our children are paramount. We ensure that every outing is conducted with the highest standards of safety, allowing children to explore their environment confidently and securely. Through these experiences, we aim to foster a sense of community and belonging, encouraging our young learners to become informed, thoughtful, and active participants in in our community.

The Library
Our children enjoy regular visits to the local library, where they select their own books and foster a lifelong love of reading by bringing stories home to share with their families.

Holland Park
Holland Park offers our children a fantastic setting to exercise and learn about nature. With forest school sessions and numerous other learning opportunities, it's an ideal outdoor classroom for exploring and growing.

Local shops
Trips to nearby shops are a key part of our learning. Children enjoy practical experiences, such as using the self-service checkout at Waitrose, donating items to Oxfam, and purchasing toothbrushes at Boots, enhancing their understanding of everyday transactions and community involvement.
